Today marks Day One of our two-week exhibition with Greubel Forsey. It is the brand's largest display of watches to date in the U.S. market and represents a 10-year retrospective. There will be 15 calibers on exhibit and a host of the luxury Swiss high-horology brand's top watches.
The exhibit will run from today through Sunday, November 22, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. But take note, if you visit today or tomorrow, you also have the chance to meet Stephen Forsey — watchmaker extraordinaire.
Stephen Silver and Stephen Forsey
Key watches we invite you to view firsthand include Invention Pieces 1, 2 & 3, GMT in Platinum, Quadruple Tourbillon Secret in Platinum, Double Tourbillon 30°Asymetrique 5N red gold and Double Tourbillon 30° Technique in both white gold and black titanium.
Additionally, the Double Tourbillon 30° Edition Historique in 5N red gold, which holds the Grand Prix de ‘L’Aiguille d’Or’ title from the 2010 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie, will be here.
Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey teamed up and launched Greubel Forsey in 2004, with the introduction of the first Double Tourbillon 30° Vision. Their goal was not only to improve the performance of existing complications, but also to invent new movements. Together, Greubel and Forsey have created seven inventions (five of those have been fully developed and two are still in the works) and have also registered approximately 50 patents for technical design and innovation.
