Drawing strength and power from the Grand Seiko lion, the Sport Spring Drive Chronograph is the "king of watches." The rose gold case is geometric like a lion's head, and angled inwards to be comfortable on the wrist, while the dial pattern represents a lion's mane. The color of the dial comes from a distinct indigo dye known as “Katsu-iro,” which has a long tradition stretching all the way back to 15th century Japan during the Sengoku period. The unique blue hue of this indigo dye signified victory, and it was proudly used to color the armor worn by Samurai. Powered by Caliber 9R96, a Spring Drive chronograph with a column wheel and a GMT function, it features an 18 karat rose gold lion on the oscillation weight. Water resistant to 200 meters with a 72 hour power reserve, this watch is limited to 100 pieces.
