The base of the clock is an oversized crown, crafted in bronze with a black patina. Standing on this crown is a glass dome that protects the eight vertically aligned, handmade Nixie bulbs. Each bulb is composed of 88 parts and when the current is switched on, they glow a warm orange color as a number from 0-9 is displayed. With eight display modes, this timepiece offers not only time measurement but also orbital distance of Earth and can change a stunning 500 times per second.
