Bovet's first fully skeletonized watch, the Virtuoso XI, is an impeccable timepiece that reinforces the House's commitment to the decorative arts. The movement was specifically conceived and designed from the start to have enough space to engrave both sides of the bridges and plates, all while leaving room to admire them. House artisans spent over 80 hours hand engraving the 18 karat white gold "Writing Slope" case in Bovet's own Fleurisanne motif. The flying tourbillon drives the timepiece with energy from a single barrel that ensures a 10 day power reserve all while maintaining the balance wheel's oscillations at 18,000 vph. Due to the extensive skeletonization, hand-engraving, and optional diamond bezel, with more than 60 artisans working together to create this timepiece, Bovet can only produce one or two per month.
