Panerai's homage to the original Egiziano is the L'Egiziano PAM341. Similar to the original design, this version offers a few differences such as a titanium case and engraved dial. The red text seen on the rotating bezel matches the original design, as well as the flush-mounted crown guard, but the movement has been updated from an Angelus to an in-house 8-day movement. Large in size, but lightweight on the wrist, this timepiece is water resistant to 100 meters and limited to 500 pieces.
