The Vagabonde x Black Badger marks the collaboration between Hautlence and designer James Thompson a.k.a. Black Badger, "The Master of Glow." Focusing on the interplay of volumes, contrast, and positive and negative space, Thompson saw the empty space around the dial of the Vagabonde as a canvas to add his personal touch. Using a Super-LumiNova-filled ceramic composite known as Badgerite®, lines and shapes in the watch brands signature color are placed around the dial giving the esthetic of a 1980's arcade game. Bright white numerals indicating the minutes rotate above a trio of hour satellites, and when the hour is revealed, an arrow points to the corresponding minute making the time easy to read and intuitive. With a 72 hour power reserve and water resistance to 100 meters, this watch is limited to 28 pieces.
