It now sits above the mainplate of the new UR-120, whose time display reproduces the famous Star Trek salute with three rotating, bifurcating, satellite hour indicators. These split open not only for the salute, but also so they can each spin on their own axis, bearing individual hour markers. The stainless steel and titanium case is comprised of two interlocking parts, seamlessly connected and sealed by side screws, and is further equipped with articulated lugs; a rarity amongst Urwerk creations. Thinner, smoother, and easier to read, the UR-120 is the latest challenge taken on by Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei, with the hope that it too shall live long and prosper. Limited Edition.
