H. Moser & Cie Opens First U.S. Brand Boutique in Silicon Valley at The Villa Menlo Park

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Menlo Park Boutique, Presented in Partnership with Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, Showcases Swiss Watchmaker’s Rare Timepieces
Including New Boutique Exclusive Streamliner Tourbillon

Menlo Park, CA (February 12, 2025) – H. Moser & Cie, the independently owned, small watchmaker gaining notice with collectors for its bold, unconventional design and mechanical ingenuity, has chosen Silicon Valley’s The Villa Menlo Park development as the site of the brand’s first U.S. watch boutique. To mark this important milestone, H. Moser & Cie unveils its new boutique exclusive Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton timepiece to the world for the first time at the brand’s new Silicon Valley store, presented in partnership with Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry—now open at 500 El Camino Real in Menlo Park, California.

The Villa Menlo Park development realizes the vision set forth by Jared and Stephen Silver, longtime Bay Area retailers and pioneers in the independent watch category. They set out to create a new Silicon Valley cultural hub, with an emphasis on discovery, fine craftsmanship, quiet sophistication, and enriching, curated experiences. The new venue houses world-class dining and retail destinations, including the new H. Moser & Cie boutique, reflecting the growing importance of the American market for the brand and the watchmaking industry as a whole.

The H. Moser & Cie boutique at The Villa Menlo Park offers visitors the opportunity to discover the watchmaker’s rare and remarkable timepieces in a resolutely modern environment. The brand’s first stand-alone U.S. retail boutique—its fourth worldwide—artfully interprets both the brand’s philosophy and its traditional watchmaking craft through a refined, minimalist lens. The interior exhibits understated lines, refined industrial materials, and carefully composed lighting, inviting watch lovers to rediscover the very essence of the watchmaker's art, stripped of any artifice. Within its walls, boutique visitors will discover one of the world’s largest selections of rare H. Moser & Cie timepieces in a single location, including the new boutique exclusive Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton timepiece, one of only seventeen such timepieces available in the world.

Edouard Meylan, H. Moser & CEO, says: “The opening of our boutique in the San Francisco Bay Area marks a key milestone in our international development strategy. This iconic region, synonymous with innovation and creativity, perfectly embodies the values that drive H. Moser & Cie.: boldness, a pioneering spirit, and a passion for artisanal excellence.”

"We could not be happier than to have the presence of H. Moser & Cie. at The Villa Menlo Park. The brand is one of the most important forces in modern watch design and a flag bearer for independent watchmaking,” says Jared Silver, president of Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, and a key driver of The Villa Menlo Park development. “H. Moser is rapidly growing its base of collectors in Silicon Valley, and now they will have an immersive home to experience the many different aspects of the company."

Introducing the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Boutique Exclusive Edition

To mark this milestone occasion, H. Moser & Cie. unveils a boutique exclusive version of its Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton – revealed to the world first at the brand’s new Silicon Valley boutique. The limited edition of seventeen timepieces was designed to offer unrivalled mechanical excellence and a unique visual experience – and marks a new step in the manufacture's quest for perfection. Limited to the brand's own boutiques and Moserland concepts, this yellow gold timepiece elevates the contemporary fluid aesthetic of the Streamliner collection whilst embodying the very essence of minimalism in the watchmaker's art.

One of the most striking characteristics of this piece is its transparency, and perfectly symmetrical design. Faithful to its philosophy of "remove to better reveal", H. Moser & Cie. has skeletonized every component, eliminating any superfluous material to enhance the stark, fascinating beauty of the mechanism. The skeletonization process results in a refined, luminous piece, highly transparent with incredible depth that reveals all the beauty of the watch mechanism, usually hidden from view. The barrel, which has also been hollowed out, offers a view of the spring, allowing the wearer to check that it is wound correctly. You can even see through the watch to the solid gold rotor, which has also been skeletonized. Particular attention has been paid to symmetry, ensuring the proportions are perfectly balanced. The minimalist finishes are modern, adorning the anthracite main plate and bridges with drawn strokes combined with precise beveling.

At the heart of this timepiece is a one-minute flying tourbillon which seems to float weightlessly, driven by the caliber HMC 814, an automatic movement equipped with a Straumann® double hairspring, designed, and produced in-house by Precision Engineering AG. This innovation reduces friction and increases accuracy, ensuring a perfect symbiosis between aesthetics and technical performance.

The 40 mm cushion case and its integrated bracelet are both made from yellow gold and echo the signature ergonomic curves of the Streamliner collection. This pairing ensures optimal comfort and a fluid design which sits perfectly on the wrist. With this exclusive model, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Boutique Edition in yellow gold stands as a bold declaration of style, aimed at knowledgeable watch lovers who are seeking the perfect union between form and function.

Discover this rare timepiece —one of only seventeen in the world—and more at the H. Moser & Cie. Menlo Park boutique on the ground floor of The Villa Menlo Park, located at 500 El Camino Real, in Menlo Park, California. The store is open to the public and by private appointment, Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
