Richard Mille Unveils RM 037 For Women

Richard Mille, one of the top independent Swiss watch brands, released a lot of news and great product at this year’s SIHH, much of which is starting to filter into our store. One top look is the all-new women's RM 037 NTPT® Carbon Set watch. In this piece, Mille works with high-tech materials yet again: North Thin Ply Technology (NTPT®) carbon — this time set with diamonds.

Unlike gold or other precious metals that can be carved to create prongs or settings for diamonds, NTPT® can only be worked with special CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machinery and diamond tools. Each case is specially prepared by creating hundreds of tiny (0.25mm) holes into which hand-polished gold prongs are inserted. The watch is balanced by the addition of a small inner tonneau-shaped dial that is made in either jasper, onyx or pavé diamond.
