Inspired by the allure of the stars, the new 19Thirty Blue Meteorite watch is something not of this Earth featuring a dial that is made from a slice of the Gibeon meteorite that is estimated to be 4.5 billions years old. The pattern on the dial is seen only after the meteorite has been acid etched, and the blue color is a PVD treatment that is transparent so the pattern is clearly visible. Any new pieces of the Gibeon meteorite are now protected as national monuments by the Namibian government, so those that are used in the 19Thirty are increasingly rare and in limited supply. Contrasting beautifully against the sand-blasted titanium case, this timepiece is both dynamic and elegant.
