Ulysse Nardin has commonly been inspired by the world of boating, resulting in different complications, and the Grand Deck Tourbillon is the first new complication UN introduced into the Marine collection. Housed in 18 karat white gold, a hand-crafted wood dial features a set of "nanowires" that pull a blued-aluminum retrograde minute hand to act like a ship's boom. These small transparent wires are stronger than steel and made of polyethylene, and are also used inside some ship rigging. This timepiece also features a 60-minute flying tourbillon, jumping hour indicator and comes on a blue leather strap. Limited to 18 pieces.
