Meet The Extraordinary Audemars Piguet Fury

Every once in a while a watch brand unveils a timepiece so extraordinary that it is worth of an extreme close-up look. Such is the case with Audemars Piguet's Diamond Fury watch — a piece the brand unveiled at SIHH earlier this year. The 18-karat white gold Haute Joaillerie timepiece is bedecked in thousands of diamonds and features a diamond-adorned watch dial masterfully hidden behind a secret cover that is also ensconced in diamonds.

The Diamond Fury watch took the master artisans at Audemars Piguet more than 1,500 hours to create. Diamonds — in pyramids — bedeck the entire bangle watch. Two versions are being offered: one with diamond and onyx and one with all diamonds. The fully set version consists of an extraordinary 4,635 brilliant-cut diamonds, weighs a total of 25.60 carats and carries a retail price of $637,800.
